Tanglewood Studios — our mission

About Us

Over two decades of dance, music, and community in Box Elder County, Utah.

Our Story

Tanglewood Studios was a dream that became a reality in Sept of 2008. It began in 1999 when Harmony Music was created.

A History of Growth

  1. 1999

    Harmony Music Is Born

The story begins with the founding of Harmony Music, planting the first seed of what would eventually grow into Tanglewood Studios.

  2. Early 2000s

    A Vision Takes Shape

Kari Marble, Talauna Stokes, Jan Rawlinson, Courtney Chournos Harrison, and Lola Baker joined forces, merging their individual programs and passions into a single, family-oriented studio.

  3. 2008

    Tanglewood Studios Opens

Tanglewood Studios was a dream that became a reality in Sept of 2008. It began in 1999 when Harmony Music was created. The studio relocated to a remodeled steel building in Bothwell during the summer of 2008, moving from previous homes that included a local day care and the old Maverik Building.

  4. Growing Years

    Expanding Programs

From its initial music classes, the studio steadily added gymnastics, clogging, dance, competitive cheer, power tumbling, karate, ballroom, fitness classes, and preschool programs — and acquired Riann Dance Company along the way.

  5. Today

    A Full Performing-Arts Home

Tanglewood Studios now serves families across Box Elder County from its facility in Tremonton, UT, with a roster of highly qualified instructors and a community built on encouragement, excellence, and fun.
